We were really nervous at first because we didn’t know what we were going to do, how we were going to do it, but the Potty Time DVD has really helped us. We started it, our son loved it, and it’s really kind of jump-started our potty training experience. | Our favorite thing about potty time is the progression of the video. It starts out as a baby, then the child grows up a little bit, and then it’s time to learn about their body. And it’s such a positive reinforcement for the child to learn about their body and be rewarded for the potty time. | (signing) More, more, more! He wanted more of the video! | I guess another great thing about the DVD is that the fear of potty training is now over for me. I’m excited, and I’m ready, and I’m happy to help my son go through this process.

My girls have really adapted to learning the signs, they’ve gotten the concept of what the steps of not only potty training are, but what your body does. | Potty training twins definitely isn’t easy, but Potty Time’s really helped because it’s gotten my girls excited. And not only excited, but together, so that they can work together, and reinforce each other to go to the potty. | The signs they learned are for the whole “step” process, there’s POTTY, WIPE, FLUSH, and WASH. And they’ve been doing that. It’s really been helpful because they know the steps of what you do when you go to the bathroom.

What I really love is just Signing Time, and I think Signing Time just really helped me since I grew up being Deaf, just helped really boost my confidence as a parent. | It really helped me gauge where my daughter is at in terms of being ready for potty training. It’s definitely a team effort, like I needed to watch it with her and I needed to really work with her.

Having Miss Rachel talk about potty time has reintroduced a new-found happiness in my little one. (little girl responds) What? Do you like Potty Time? (nods) Yeah?  | The fact that Potty Time isn’t just about potty has helped us learn about how our body changes. And I think that’s what scares them the most, are the changes. | (signing) Love you! We’re excited, thank you, yeah!

The thing I like the most about Potty Time is it makes it exciting for the kids, like even my 2-year-old, and my 3-year-old, and my 9- and 11-year old watch it with my kids and they all have fun and they’re all signing! It actually gets my older kids into it to help the younger kids with it too, so it’s a big help. | And it’s not just signs about potty, it’s signs about everyday life and they’re running around, and the music is great and they just really like it.
